Fly Dynasty Corp
We are airline captains, certified flight instructors (FAA and EASA), airline instructors, rocket scientists, tech geeks, entrepreneurs, students, and friends but most importantly, we are FAMILY.
We have decades of aviation experience flying anything from a Cessna 172 to the world’s newest airline, the Airbus A350. Some of us have a military backgrounds and some of us have been in general aviation since day one.

The Owners

We met while flying! After 10 years of flying together as Captain and Flight Attendant, in 2005 we moved to Qatar to start our new life adventure.
4 out of our 6 Children decided to follow their dad’s footsteps and became pilots. In 2017 we started taking our first step and buying our first DA-20, shortly after we bought the second one and had them flying in San Diego.
The fleet grew as we continued adding planes to the Family ! In 2019 we bought two Piper Cherokees that we had flying in Tampa. Knowing the struggle of finding a reliable flight school with dedicated Flight Instructors and one of a kind training, we decided to open up our own Flight School in our retirement city of Ocala.
Meet The Team
Alex Sosa
Chief Flight Instructor
Meet Alex Sosa, the Chief Pilot of Fly Dynasty. With 3 thousand flight hours of experience in the aviation industry, Alex has a wealth of knowledge and expertise to offer.
I’ve always had a desire to be in aviation. The first book I read was “The Airplane Flew Over My House”. From there, I studied all kinds of aircraft until high school and started moving towards nuclear work. After years away, I finally came back to aviation, and I get to share the experience with my family.
I eventually want to fly larger aircraft such as the airbus A350 or Boeing 787 and spend my retirement years as a DPE.
As an instructor, I enjoy helping others turn their aviation dreams into reality. Its always fun to see their smiles and confidence after safely completing their first solo.
Michael Pheps
My first steps in aviation were under a paraglider with an engine mounted to my back. Me and my brother ventured into the world of ultralight aircraft in the summer of 2021. Since then, along a path neither of us foresaw, we have both become Certified Flight Instructors. He moved to Virginia and I stayed here in our hometown, both of us teaching the thing we love.
